Under the Sea with HGP

Mia's entire kindergarten from Howell Graves Preschol had a program last night all about the ocean. It was at the high school, which is nice because there's plenty of room.  Nana, Pop, and Carley came to watch her, along with all of our crew.  I (of course) ended up behind a mic stand, so my pictures weren't that great.  They originally had a Christmas recital prepared, but so many kids were sick and out of school then that it got cancelled and transformed into a Spring recital.  It was only about 20 minutes long, but they were so cute.  Mia is in the zebra class, so of course she has zebra pants to wear on just such an occasion!  Most classes stood exactly where they were supposed to, but not ours.  Our class jammed out to every song.  I thought some of our boys were going to fall off the stage they were dancing so hard!  Even the teachers danced to Surfing USA.  In fact, Mia's teacher flagged me down in the car line yesterday and said that she had shown them the teacher dance in class, and my sweet daughter's reaction was to roll her eyes and say, "Please don't embarass us tonight".  Always the drama!  They all did a great job.  It's hard to believe this year is almost over.
