It's Christmas!

I can't believe we've just celebrated Christmas again.  The older the children get (and I get) the faster the time goes.  Christmas Eve was spent at Nana and Pop's house with the cousins as we prepared everything for the next day.  The kids all exchanged presents with each other and Pop and Nana gave out a few early presents as well.  All these kids love being outdoors and going camping.  They all got backpacks with binoculars, flashlights, and other camping goodies.  They spent the next few hours in the back yard with all their new stuff.  Aunt Kristen got some great pics of them as the sun was setting.

Christmas day began around 6 a.m. at our house.  As usual, we had to wake all the kids up.  I blame it all on the exciting Christmas Eve activities.  I don't know any other parents that have to wake up the kids, it's always the other way around!  We all went to open presents and see what Santa brought.  Then we got ready and went down the street to celebrate with Pop, Nana, and the cousins.  After breakfast we opened presents and played for the next couple of hours.

Ready to open presents!

I think these 2 liked their presents better than the kids!
For lunch we went to Grandma's house.  Meme and Popaw were there too.  We had missed getting to see them at the annual celebration at Jeremy's Aunt Anita's house due to Mia having the stomach bug.   We ate, opened presents, and played some more.

After all the excitement of Christmas we went back home to relax and enjoy the end of the day.  We are truly blessed!
